I bet you guys remember the Petr0nas Advertisement where the kid constantly repeating asking his dad the same question; 'Burung ape tu' when he was young and he just simply snap when his dad keep on asking the same question. So we're entering that phase where his forever favourite Question of the month is "Mommy, Ape tue..?" and he keep on repeating "Ape tue" (KL Slang, yo!) over n over n over again. I even have nightmares when i dont hear him asking that Qs i tot i was deaf!! Although he never once saw that advertisement, but im assuming that maybe during my pregnancy he had learned that particular Qs shud be asked repeatedly due to the overblasting TV volume and only now he has the chance to practice it.
Another adverstisement is the the Formula Milk where the dad was teaching his daughter to say 'Flower' and she replied 'Orkid-lah!'. LilKoala also has learned to add the Malaysia-Famous word:- 'Lah' at the end of the word/sentence.
One day we were at a Shell Petrol Station, while I was paying at the counter, the sales lady asked him if he could give her his toycar that he was holding. The lady goes like this.. 'Wow... bagi kakak kereta tu bole..?' and he goes... 'Ni Car-lah..' So, kakak itu pon terdiam terpaku, silent as a stone not knowing how to react.
Another few words that we didnt expect him to respond to other are like during this situations.
Situation A:-
Opah: Emir, Opah want car, pls?
And we were all like..?? What he told us that's ENOUGH???? Wokay.. big boy!!
Situation B:-
Other word is KOYAK where he just use it at anything that he thinks is broken. Not sure where he got this from but sometimes when he thinks his car is broken he'll go.. 'Ala... Car Koyakk..'
Note: He loves karaoke. He even hogs the mic! OMG, how can you have too many mic-hoggers in a family? Me handling Acu alone pon dh pening!
OMG!! This is a very long entry and it shows how much he has learned for the past 1 year 11months with his small 8 teeths. Vid above shows him singing his ABC song. He loves singing other than babbling all alone. Listen how clear he can pronounce it. Other songs that he can sing very well are Twinkle twinkle Little STar, London Bridge, Itsy Bitsy Spider and Are You Sleeping. There maybe more songs that he can sing well that we dont know that he learned from Nursery.
He's also starting to show his personality. He's the garang type especially when it comes to his property.
He LOves babies!!
He's kinda vein too. Especially when there's mirror around. He'll stop by looking at himself, smiling and then continue playing. But even when playing can see he's eyes checking on himself on the mirror.
Oh ya, He also can count from 1-10 with a scale 8/10 in english, 5/10 in Malay. We're soo proud of you baby!
